Recorded live session in which I discuss and show examples of different species from the mineral group zeolites! Featured are for example the very well known and popular zeolites stilbite, heulandite, scolecite, mesolite and natrolite. I explain the different crystal shapes and characteristics of zeolites and I also discuss the somewhat lesser known zeolites such as: laumontite, phillipsite, thomsonite, chabazite, gmelinite, analciem, etc. I begin with some minerals that are often mislabeled as zeolites (but are found along with zeolites), such as apophyllite, prehnite, okenite and cavansite.
