Live session #17 Pyrite

Recorded live session in which I discuss the mineral Pyrite and show beautiful examples of it from around the world. Specimens from Spain, Peru, USA and China as well as from the Netherlands show the variety of forms of Pyrite well. I pay brief attention to the related minerals marcasite and chalcopyrite.

In a later live session, I will discuss the mineral Pyrite again, but from the Crystal Museum in Borculo. In it, there are even more spectacular examples of Pyrite from around the world.

In this video, I discuss how to distinguish between true bornite and acidified chalcopyrite.
